RCS has been developing by the GSMA organization for 11 years and promoted by Google took the attention of most of the smartphone producers, but still, only 45 of several hundred mobile operators from around the world decided to provide users with a “successor of the SMS”. What is conversational messaging?
Conversational messaging is the use of multiple communication channels in one system. For example, the LINK Conversations interface provided by LINK Mobility Group and SMSAPI at the same time combines several channels – Messenger, RCS and chat in the browser window.
In LINK Conversations, the smartphone is used to make the first contact with the customer. The interface allows you to communicate, for example, by sending an SMS with a link that takes the customer to the chat page.
By communicating with the chatbot, the user can settle his case – for example in the case of restaurants, the client will find out whether he can book a table for a meal, what the current menu is, or how to change the booking time. The interface also allows you to use Facebook Messenger and RCS in the same purpose.
