Mail2SMS
Mail2SMS (meaning e-mail to SMS) is an alternative method of SMS messaging straight from your mailbox. The feature is available to all users and requires no additional configuration.
SMSAPI Customer Portal is not the only way that allows you to send text messages to your clients. If for whatever reason you cannot access mobile application or Portal’s full version, consider using mail2SMS functionality. To run your SMS campaign, you need an e-mail account, an internet connection, no matter the chosen e-mail client or access method.

How does it work?
Preparing an e-mail is easy and can be done without any IT expertise. Recipients database, sender name and message should be embedded into the code. Such e-mail, sent to a fixed address, has login and encrypted password in subject field, whereas text field contains the set of chosen parameters.
What’s more, using mail2SMS allows you to use all normally available features, like custom sender name, message type or contact groups.

Before clicking send be sure to activate desired sender name and to encrypt your password. Do both in Customer Portal.
How to send SMS from e-mail account?
- Type "sms.do@smsapi.com" in the e-mail address field.
- Type your login and encrypted password in the subject line - make sure your password is encrypted with MD5 algorithm.
- Use the template to add message body and phone numbers - you can find in in our Documentation or choose parameters yourself. The e-mail must be written in standard coding (plain/quotedprintable/base64).
- Just remember about sender name activation and to put message parameter at the very end. Divide parameters with “&” character and write numbers without “+” at the beginning. Use “raport=1” parameter to receive delivery report or error message.
- Click “send” and it’s done!
